Finally an insect repellent that repels SAND FLIES!  Mondo Hondo was specifically designed for Honduras and the Bay Islands.

The patented active ingredient in Mondo Hondo, a derivative of Menthol, is 8 times more effective than DEET at repelling sand flies (midges, no-see-ums). 

Mondo Hondo is just as effective as DEET against mosquitoes but isn't oily or foul smelling and requires less frequent application.

The patented ingredient is generally regarded as safe (GRAS) that is derived from Menthol, yet imparts only a slight minty smell.
