One of many beaches you'll find on the 33 mile long and 4 mile wide island.
The beach shack is an island paradise, where you can kick back and enjoy a variety of seasonal fruits and nuts at arm's length including coconuts, breadfruit, avocados, and
mangoes. Or for those who prefer, an ice cold Salva Vida (life saver), a Honduran beer that does as the names implies and some fresh shrimp or lobster brought in by the local fleet.
Snorkel through crystal clear waters on the world's second largest barrier reef that lies 250 yards from the end of our dock pictured below. Or SCUBA dive the 60' deep channel and wall that starts 200' to the left or our dock and goes out to the reef. For fisherman, enjoy bonefish fishing on the reef or big game fishing just off the reef.

On site, The Blue Parrot, is currently operating and serving great Jamaucan jerk dishes, burgers, and steaks in an open air atmoisphere. Also, just a short (about 3 miles) taxi ride are the many places to eat and drink in West End. Or have a BBQ at the Sundancer Pool and enjoy the ritual happy hour at the Sundancer dock.
Upper unit 4A ("A" units are Above/ Upper) features 2 bedrooms, a loft and a bathroom. It also has a full kitchen, nice size living room and a private deck. Unlike other units, Unit 4A is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens at the resort yet is one of the few buildings that is a just a few steps (about 75) from the beach(use Google Earth measuring tools to check for yourself) and has some ocean views depending on the growth of the trees.

Unless you plan on driving everyday save some money on a rental car and the parking problems of Coxen Hole by hiring Carlos. Carlos speaks great English and Spanish and can take you on a tour or just to do your errands for what a rental car, gas, and insurance costs. He grew up on Roatan and there is not a person or place he doesn't know.
